About Us
In 2020, as COVID swept across the nation, uncertainty loomed over everything—including my job. Faced with the possibility of losing my livelihood, my wife Kathy and I, decided to start a small wood carving business as a backup. At first, we had no clear direction and weren’t sure what to create. After much thought, I began carving crosses, hoping they could offer comfort during a time of despair.
As it turned out, I never lost my job, but carving became more than just a backup plan; it became a passion. Today, I continue to carve not just as a craft, but as a way to spread hope and faith. I’ve created what I call "Hope Crosses" and "Believe Crosses," which I give to those in need. These crosses have made their way to local food pantries, churches, and even disaster relief efforts, like supporting hurricane victims in North Carolina.
One memorable moment came when my wife and I encountered a struggling server at a Waffle House. Sensing her hardship, my wife pulled one of our crosses from her purse and handed it to her. The gesture brought her to tears, a powerful reminder of how something small can make a big difference.
Carving these crosses has become more than a hobby; it’s a way to share hope, faith, and kindness with others in their time of need.
Today, Kathy and I work side by side in our carving and design business, combining creativity and craftsmanship to create unique, meaningful products. Each piece is proudly made in the USA using sustainable materials, including locally sourced wood from the Amish community, small-area sawmills, and reclaimed lumber yards.
Whether it’s a beautiful piece of home decor, a heartfelt gift, or a cross crafted to inspire hope, every item we design reflects our unwavering commitment to quality, care, and love. Through our work, we celebrate the beauty of natural materials and the joy of creating pieces that bring warmth and meaning to others' lives.
This journey has become much more than a business—it’s a shared passion that brings us closer together and allows us to touch the lives of others. Through our work, we aim to connect with people, spread joy, and bring a little light into the world, one handcrafted piece at a time.
